Stone Bird Bath SBB20

Stone Bird Bath SBB20 is a Large sized granite boulder, hand picked from a quarry in North Wales. Standing an impressive 700mm high this is one of the lightest ones we currently have in stock. Sawn base provides safety and stability. Hours have been spent polishing the top to give a super smooth polished glass finish. A 280mm diameter dish has been cut into the top for retaining water and encouraging birds and wildlife to an outdoor space. This garden bird bath will suit a contemporary garden design because while it retains natural glacial colour tones the smoothed and rounded sides add an elegance not found in more rugged pieces. The contrasting colours between surface stone and cut stone add much interest. It could also work to bring some contrast as a feature stone in a more traditional setting. Can also be used as a water bowl or vessel in a Japanese Garden Design. We can provide a slate or stone plinth for this to rest on at additional cost.
