My mum died last year, she was cremated and her ashes scattered in her garden. I wanted something beautiful but simple to mark her passing, but didn’t want anything too ‘gravestoney’, flamboyant or austere. This paddlestone looked perfect, I sent off my order with instructions on what I wanted, and received a very quick reply reassuring me it would be no problem. The stone arrived very well packaged, beautifully inscribed and is good quality slate. I gave it to dad on what would have been mums birthday, and on the day we scattered her ashes, he was overjoyed. It now sits on the bench where mum used to sit and drink her coffee, it doesn’t look sad just beautiful. Mum would have loved it.

This is the second engraved paddle stone I have ordered as a gift for a special wedding anniversary. The quality is amazing and my sister & brother in law were delighted with their present which will be a permanent reminder of their special celebration.
