Filthy Garden SOS

We recently supplied decorative landscaping boulders for episode four of new program Filthy Garden SOS on Channel 5. This great series focuses on helping transform people’s neglected gardens into dream outdoor spaces. Production company Flying Saucer TV contacted us after a google search brought them to the Boulders category on our website. The Filthy Garden SOS team features award-winning garden designer Diarmuid Gavin, fellow designer and community garden champion Danny Clarke and Scottish designer Penny Lamb.

Episode 4

Our boulders were featured on episode 4 of Filthy Garden SOS, in which the team worked on the garden of Olwyn, 86, in White City London. Olwyn’s sizeable city garden was once her pride and joy but over the years had become overgrown and unusable. Olwyn’s grandson Ryan had recently moved in as a full time carer and wanted to bring the garden up to date for Olwyn to enjoy once again.

Decorative Boulders

We provided a selection of garden boulders for Olwyn’s garden design that formed part of the herb garden at the front of her property. Olwyn reminisced on the show about the lavender and other herbs that her mother used to grow when she was a youngster, so the team installed raised beds to help her recreate these memories.
