Stone Plinth SM325

Stone Plinth SM325 was chosen at a quarry in North Wales and hand finished in our Southampton workshop. Measuring just under 600mm tall, this stone plinth is ideal as a sign or memorial stone. Alternative use would be to support a sculpture, statue or column. Sawn base provides a flat and safe stable base. The top has also been sawn flat and polished to a fine mirror glass finish, exposing a contrasting green colour. Premium quality stone plinth measuring approximately 450mm x 350mm at the base makes this a rather heavy but yet manageable piece. The polished top measures approx 360mm x 330mm. Weighs in at around 150kg so could be moved on site without mechanical lifting. A heavy duty sack truck would be perfect. Installation options are placing on a solid flat base or concreting into the ground. Stone plinths of this size, quality and characteristics is becoming increasingly difficult to source in the quarry. We can hold this stone plinth in the yard until you’re ready for delivery or until your landscapers arrive on site. This can easily be combined with similar size stones to create a Japanese themed garden or Zen like retreat in your garden. Combine with other slate products such as slate chippings and slate stepping stones to create a simple Japanese style garden.
